"Yes, another wine from the team at Yalumba, this time from Peter Gambetta, a man who seems to have an uncanny knack of knocking out great cab sav, and at the right price point, too. WA’s Margaret River area is knocking out fantastic wines these days; this is one that is spot on. In the glass there are aromas of dark fruits: cherry, blackcurrant, that kind of thing, with chocolate and a little oak. When it hits your tongue though, it comes alive, it’s big and racy, showing all those dark fruits with a touch of fresher, lighter fruits such as cranberries. The whole thing is balanced so well. It will also age for the next 10 years or thereabouts, so you can enjoy it for years to come."
